Цель урока:
1. развитие коммуникативной культуры и социально-культурной образованности
учащихся, позволяющие участвовать в социально-бытовой и учебно-
профессиональной сфере;
2. повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка: расширение кругозора,
развитие воображения и внимания.
Задачи:
1. образовательная:
‐ актуализация лексических навыков и навыков устной речи;
‐ тренировка произносительных навыков (отработка звуков, интонации утвердительных и
вопросительных предложений);
- тренировка грамматических навыков;
‐ развитие навыков чтения;
‐ развитие аудитивных навыков;
‐ отработка умений и навыков диалогической речи.
2. развивающая:
‐ развитие памяти, логического мышления, самостоятельности при выполнении заданий;
3. воспитательная:
‐ активное взаимодействие детей друг с другом, приобщение к культуре страны
изучаемого языка.

Good morning, children! I`m glad to see you. We have guests today at our
lesson so please turn and greet them. Sit down and let`s get started.
What date is it today?
What is the weather forecast for today?
Where did you get this information? Did you listen to the radio news or on
the box?
Look at the board and tell what we are going to talk about today / what
topic all these words relate to.
Now explain some words from the list (current affairs, entertainment,
background music, western, historical films).

All of you watch different types of films. Let`s remember them. We shall
play “Snowball”. Begin your sentence with:
I watch comedies.
I watch comedies and cartoons. Etc.
Well done. Now we shall have some grammar revision.
How many Grammar Tenses have we already taken? What are they?
When do we use Past Simple, Future Simple, Present Simple, Present
Continuous? What can you tell about Present Perfect?
There are some papers on your desks. Take paper #1. The task is: Open
the brackets and put the verbs in the correct form. You have 3-5 minutes to
complete the task.
- How often do you watch TV? – I watch TV every evening. – What
programme did you see yesterday? – I saw a new game show on the box. –
Have you ever taken part in a TV game show? – No, never, but I would like
to.
Now exchange your papers with your partners, look at the board and check
the sentences.
How many mistakes have you made?
Who has made no mistakes?
Good. Now, what do you know about Radio and TV in Great Britain? We
have read two texts about it, what do you remember?
I wiggle my fingers,
I wiggle my toes,
I wiggle my shoulders,
I wiggle my nose.
Now no more wiggles are left in me.
So I will be still as can be.
Take another paper on your desks, paper #2. Here we have a short text.
Read it by yourselves.

Star Wars is a science fiction film about a young man called Luke
Skywalker. He lived happily with his aunt and uncle. One day the evil
(злодей) Darth Vader came and killed his aunt and uncle. Luke decided
(решил) to take revenge (отомстить) and kill Darth Vader.
The film is very exciting especially the last part with the space battle
(битва) between Luke and Darth Vader.
a) What type of film is Star Wars?
b) What happened to Luke`s aunt and Uncle?
c) What is the most interesting part of the film?
Paper # 3. Listen to dialogue 1 and answer the questions:
1) Where does Sue offer to go?
2) What film does she offer to watch?
3) What does Dave want to see?
4) Did Dave agree to go to the cinema?
Listen to dialogue 2 and say what film the children are going to watch.
Write down the name of the film.
Look at the board. Here is a TV programme. Student A will go through the
programme, then you will tell him what you are fond of and he will answer
if there are some programmes you could watch.
The lesson was quite interesting. It is good that you have learned so much
to the topic “Radio and TV”.
Now open your dairies and write down your homework.
