I Организационный этап
1) Приветствие
Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you.

I think the weather is wonderful today. I hope the lesson will be wonderful too.
2) Фонетическая зарядка
We are going to have hard work today. So, we should train our tongues and brush up our
phonetics first. Let us practise the sound /u/. Read after me all together: Could a good-looking
woman cook good cookies? Look at the screen. Read and translate the tongue twister. Прошу
прочитать скороговорку нескольких учащихся. Well done!
3) Речевая зарядка
We are going to talk about games today. So, I’d like you write down some game words
beginning with this letters according to the categories: Board games/ Sport games/

As I have already said we are going to continue speaking about different games. But it’s not

Актуализация полученных знаний
Этап поискового чтения.
Let us refer to the text again. This time read its first paragraph… What information about
women have you learnt? (На доске выписать слово participate)
Если есть затруднения, задать вопрос: Could women participate in the Highland games?
… So, what about us? What could and couldn’t we do in the past?
Выполнение упражнения 2 (№ 6 на слайде показываю Моцарта и слово child prodigy, а также
слово email и invent)
Let’s do ex. 2. Don’t forget to use negative form of the verb could in some sentences. What is

III Закрепление. Формирование навыков построения высказываний
Now it’s your turn to ask each other questions. Close your textbooks. Divide into 2 groups of 7
people. Игровой момент Раздаю листочки, прошу написать на них вопросы для
одноклассников, прошу свернуть их в трубочки и сложить в коробочки (подаю им).
Показываю пример, прошу по возможности не повторяться.

Затем готовые полоски бумаги сворачивают в трубочки и складывают в коробочки, я
перемешиваю и учащиеся из одной группы задают вопросы учащимся из другой группы, те
отвечают, и т.д
