Цель: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции по теме
экологические проблемы.

Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you.
How are you?

Today we have a special lesson. We have some guests! Let’s greet
them! I hope they will enjoy your work! Today we are going not
only study, but play a little bit. That’s why you were divided into 3
groups. Your home task was to name your team and make up
motto according to the topic we have spoken -“Ecology”. Look at
these tables. Every team has the name. Can you introduce and put
your name down.

What can we do to solve this problem?
We can all do our bit to help solve the problem by remembering
the 3 Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle.
REDUCE. We’ve all got to try to reduce the amount of rubbish we
throw away. We can do that by buying unpackaged goods, like
fruit and vegetables, rather than goods which are wrapped and
packaged in plastic. The less that's thrown away, the more we help
the environment.
REUSE. Try to use things as many times as possible before you
throw them away. For example, you're given some plastic bags at
the supermarket to carry your food home in. Do you use them
again? Most people don't. It would be much better for the
environment if they did. Your kids have grown out of their old
clothes. Don't just put them in the bin - think about giving them to
charity. Somebody probably wants them.
RECYCLE. Glass, paper, plastic they can all be recycled.
Recycling cuts down the waste going to landfill sites and also
means factories need to produce fewer new bottles and packets and
paper. That means there's less pollution going into the atmosphere
from the factories. It also leads to fewer trees being cut down to
make paper.
So, let’s sum up. What can we do to solve the problem?

Now, let’s relax. Close your eyes and relax your entire body.... Take
a slow, deep breath...now exhale with a slight sigh. Take another
slow breath... and exhale. Now think of a place that is special to you....
It might be in your backyard or in your neighborhood, or a place you
go on holiday every year.... It is a place where you can relax and
think and where you enjoy being.... Think about the smells of that
place...the sounds you hear...the things you see around you.... Pay
attention to how you feel in your special place.... Notice what's
around you...there may be trees, a lake or ocean, people,
mountains.... Pay particular attention to whether or not there is any
water in your special place.... Now imagine that your special place
changes if your place has water in it, imagine that all of a sudden the
water is completely gone. If your special place has no water, imagine
that it now has lots and lots of water.... Imagine what your special
place is like now what sounds do you hear?.... What do you see
around you?.... Think about how your special place looks now and
remember what you see and feel.... When you are ready, open your
eyes. What was your special place like with and without water? How
did you feel when your special place was changed?

Water they say is life, and indeed they were right. With about 70% of the earth’s
cover being water, it undeniably becomes one of our greatest resources. As young
students, we learned about the various ways to conserve water; coming to think of
it, water is used in almost every important human chores and processes. It is an
important element in both domestic as well as industrial purposes. However, a
closer inspection of our water resources today, give us a rude shock. Infested with
waste ranging from floating plastic bags to chemical waste, our water bodies have
turned into a pool of poison. The contamination of water bodies in simplest words
means water pollution. Thereby the abuse of lakes, ponds, oceans, rivers,
reservoirs etc is water pollution. Pollution of water occurs when substances that
will modify the water in negative fashion are discharged in it. This discharge of
pollutants can be direct as well as indirect. Water pollution is an appalling
problem, powerful enough to lead the world on a path of destruction. Water is an
easy solvent, enabling most pollutants to dissolve in it easily and contaminate it.
The most basic effect of water pollution is directly suffered by the organisms and
vegetation that survive in water, including amphibians. On a human level, several
people die each day due to consumption of polluted and infected water.

Pollution is now a common place term, that our ears are attuned to. We hear about
the various forms of pollution and read about it through the mass media. Air
pollution is one such form that refers to the contamination of the air, irrespective of
indoors or outside. A physical, biological or chemical alteration to the air in the
atmosphere can be termed as pollution. It occurs when any harmful gases, dust,
smoke enters into the atmosphere and makes it difficult for plants, animals and
humans to survive as the air becomes dirty. Air pollution can further be classified
into two sections- Visible air pollution and invisible air pollution. Another way of
looking at Air pollution could be any substance that holds the potential to hinder
the atmosphere or the well being of the living beings surviving in it. The
sustainment of all things living is due to a combination of gases that collectively
form the atmosphere; the imbalance caused by the increase or decrease of the
percentage of these gases can be harmful for survival

The ‘greenhouse effect’ is an atmospheric heating phenomenon in which the Earth
experiences rise in temperature because certain gases (water vapor, carbon dioxide,
nitrous oxide, and methane) in the atmosphere allow incoming sunlight to pass
through but trap heat radiated from the earth’s surface. If these gases wouldn’t trap
heat in the atmosphere, the temperature of the earth would be about 33 degrees
centigrade colder on average. Because how these gases warm our planet, they are
called as greenhouse gases and the effect they create in the atmosphere is called as
greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect, although it sounds scary, is perfectly
natural and normal. It is simply the name given to the process whereby certain
naturally occurring gases in the Earth’s atmosphere retain some of the thermal
radiation that reaches Earth from the sun. The main gases that are termed
‘greenhouse’ gases (GHG’s) are: Ozone, Carbon dioxide, Nitrous oxide, Water
vapor and Methane. All of these are naturally occurring.

In the last few years, various human activities have released ozone destroying
chemicals into the atmosphere. A hole in the Ozone has emerged because of all of
the depletion. Starting in the spring of 1980, a massive 8.2 square mile ozone hole
accounting for one quarter to one half the appeared over the continent of
Antarctica. For the past 16 years the hole has grown larger. In fact the largest
depletion over Antarctica occurred in the middle range between 13 and 21 km. 37
nations signed the bill, it read that the signing nations cut down on the use of
chlorofluorocarbons and to completely stop CFC emissions by the year 2000. In
general people are waking up to this serious problem; as well they should. Ozone
is debatibly the most important thin known man. The survival of the human race is
really dependent upon the ozone layer. If we keep using these dangerous
chemicals, such as CFC, found in arisol cans, we could ultimatly destroy the ozone
layer. If we destroy the ozone layer then we are really killling ourselves. If the
ozone layer is destroyed then powerful ultriviolent rays will penitrate the earth and
everyone would get skin cancer and eventually die. I hope organizations will
continue to work to prevent the destruction of ozone because I would like to see
man survive for a while.
