“The Problems of Teenagers”
Задачи урока:
1. Развивать устную речь по теме на основе прочитанного и прослушанного
текстов.
2. Закрепить слова и выражения по данной теме.
3. Развивать умение логически мыслить, сравнивать, обобщать, делать выводы и
заключения.
4. Научить учащихся находить выход из проблемной ситуации.
Ход урока.
1. Организационный момент, приветствие
Youth is a very important period in the life of a man. This is the time when a person
discovers the world and tries to determine the place in the universe. Young people face a lot
of problems which are very important for them.
2. Речевая зарядка.
What problems do the teenagers have in everyday’s life? Everybody of you is a
teenager. So, What problems do you have in your daily life?
P1-My parents don’t understand me.
P2- I can’t along with my sister.
P3-No one listens to me.
P4- I am too shy.
P5- I’ve got bad marks at school.
P6- I need pocket money.
P7- I’d like to be more independent.
P8- I have too much homework.
3. Развитие навыков монологической речи.
Now look at the board We’ll see here some youth problems. Let’s talk about them.
The first problem is Family problem What can you say about it?
Засматриваются все проблемы по очереди, учащиеся высказываются по каждой 2-3 предложения.
T: Look at the screen? And read The reasons of the problems . Do you agree with this? Why?

The reasons of the problems are:

Lack of

Misunderstandings

T: By all means, a lot of the problems can be solved. What way can find the teen’s?

By all means, a lot of the problems can be solved.
If a teenager has any problem he can:
1. Cope with it himself;
2. Ask his parents or friends;
3. Ask adults;
4. Ask school;
5. Ask the Government or special organizations.
T: How teens and adults should
To cope with problems? Let’s work at group of 4? And do the task.
You should fill the table. Choosing right variants. Read and translate your variants.( ОТВЕТЫ:

T: But I want to talk with you about relationship between teenagers. Before listening read the

Please don’t make me go to school.
I’m fed up with being the fool.
All the children call me names.
They won’t let me play their games
Every one, they laugh at me.
The hurt inside they cannot see.
They pick on me now every day,
And I just want to run away.
I’ve no one I can call my friend.
I feel I want my life to end.
I’m so sad, I cry and cry.
For I am living a dreadful lie.
I feel I cannot tell my mum,
Of all the things that they have done.
So if you think that bullyng’s for you,
Just look at the damage you can do.

T: I want to give you advice how to feel good about yourself.
Advice № 1. Remember you are a unique individual. DO NOT compare yourself to anyone else.
Advice 2. Do something for someone else. The people you are helping will think you are special.
Advice 3. Confide in a friend. Anxiety spreads thinner when it is shared.
Advice 4. Keep notes of your problems. Do it in code if you worry about privacy.
By the end of the month, you will see how many problems you did solve.
Advice 5. Allow yourself to fail. We do learn from experience. Each failure teaches us
something. And the last rule.
Advice 6. Make up your own chant or mantra.
Try “ I am doing the best I can” or “I am a great person”.
Repeat it to yourself wherever you start to feel shaky.
