- Eton is a world-famous school for boys . It was founded in 1440 by Henry VI, at Windsor on the river Thames.
- Boys usually stay at Eton for five years, arriving at the age of 13. Eton provides fine teaching facilities, for example in science, languages, computing and design.
- Sport plays an extremely important part in the life of most Etonians and there is a considerable range of sports in which a boy may participate. The principal sports and games are soccer and football, cricket and rowing. Athletics, swimming, golf, squash, tennis, fencing, judo and karate are all very popular.
- The boys are offered a very wide range of opportunities for sparetime activities: art, sculpture, pottery, woodwork and others.
