Урок по английскому языку по теме «Pets», 5 класс.
Цель: применить полученные знания и умения на практике с последующим
выходом на монологическое высказывание по теме.
Учебник: УМК под редакцией М.З. Биболетовой, О.А. Денисенко, Н.Н.
Трубаневой
Образовательные задачи:
- учить пользоваться изученным лексическим и грамматическим
материалом
- выявлять признаки животных, развивать творческое мышление, умение
обосновать свое решение
Воспитательные задачи:
- прививать чувство любви к животным
- воспитывать коммуникативную иноязычную культуру
Развивающие задачи:
- развивать навыки письма, чтения и говорения
- учить самостоятельно решать проблемы на основе изученного материала
Формы:
- индивидуальная
- парная
- групповая
Оснащение: раздаточный материал (ксерокопии листов с заданиями и
картинками), доска, цветные карандаши
Ход урока.
1). Организационный момент
T Good morning, my dear friends! I am glad to see you. Take your seats and let`s
begin our lesson.
- How are you today?
- What date is it today?
- Who is absent?
- What day of the week is it today?
- Is it Wednesday or Friday?
- What season is it now?
- It is spring, isn`t it?
- What is the weather today?
- Do you like spring? Why?
Okay, well done. Good for you.
2). Сообщение плана
T So today we`ll continue our work on the topic. We`ll train the words, work
with special worksheets, learn to give reasons, to explain and prove your choice.
3). Фонетическая зарядка
T Let`s repeat some sounds, first of all:
[o], [w], [f], [s], [z], [ou], [au], [o:]
T Do you remember our poem?
P (together) A wise old owl lived in an oak.
The more he saw, the less he spoke.
The less he spoke, the more he heard.
Why can’t we all be like that wise old bird?
4). Речевая зарядка
T Do you remember what the name of our topic is?

T What associations do you have with the word Pets? (дети называют
ассоциации, выходят и сами записывают их на доску)
T OK, today we’re going to enlarge the vocabulary. Take these sheets of paper,
look through the words written in tables attentively. Do you know all of them?
What words are new for you? (Учитель выписывает незнакомые слова на доску
и дает перевод)
5). Парная работа
T Now work in pairs. Look at the pictures. What animals do you see?
P A parrot, a dog, a mouse, a cat.
T Right you are. You see that the pictures are in frames. So, you should now
decide on a colour for each animal and make a frame around the animal in that
colour. You have one-two minutes to do that.

T Now you have to think carefully and decide which of the adjectives/verbs on
the worksheet best match the animals or their personalities. Discuss it in pairs,
circle the words in the color of animals they go with. Explain your choice to the
partner.
Example: I’ve got a cat, she’s very friendly (circle “friendly”). But she likes to do
what she wants, so she’s determined (circle “determened”)
You can also use your own words.
You have 10 minutes.
T Well, let’s check.

6). Монологическая речь.
T Now your task is to decide which of the animals represents you in their
personality best? Complete the sentence on the worksheet (I’m like…because…)
Example: I’m like a parrot because I’m talkative, noisy and communicative. Also I
like to watch in a mirror :)

T - So your homework is to speak about your pets.
