The Tower of London is the fortress which was founded on the north bank of the river Thames. It’s one of the oldest historical buildings of Great Britain which had been a residence for English monarchs.

The Tower Ravens

The headless figure of Anna Bolein sometimes appears moving by the wind from the Royal House in the Tower walls through the St. Peter’s chapel.

The Tower of London now

  • Today the Tower of London is the one of the main sights of the city. The symbol of the terrifying past of the Tower is the place where earlier was a scaffold of the Tower hill. Now there is a memorial tablet in memory of «the tragic fate of those who for the faith sake and ideals ventured their lives and accepted death.The main Tower buildings are museum and Armory Museum where the treasures of British crown are kept. In the Tower of London there are also a lot of private apartments , where live stuff and distinguished guests.
