Description of students: This is a remedial class. The students are weak in English.
About half of them were among the Bottom Ten in the Final Examination in Secondary
Three.
Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. make suggestions
2. respond to suggestions
Prior knowledge: Students have already learned how to
1. begin a group discussion
2. give and respond to opinions
Teaching aids: worksheets, cassette recorder and tape, blackboard.

- Tell SS to fill in the blanks in Exercise 1 as they listen to the tape.
- Play the tape.
- Check the answers with SS and highlight the main points.
