Урок английского языка по теме «Helping our mothers»
(«Помогая нашим мамам»)
Цели урока:
Развивающая цель – Развитие готовности к коммуникации.
Воспитательная цель – Воспитание уважительного отношения к мамам;
воспитание ответственного отношения к выполнению домашних обязанностей.
Практическая цель - Развитие умения и навыков устной речи.
Задачи урока:
- учить рассказывать о своих домашних обязанностях;
- работать над техникой чтения вслух;
- отрабатывать грамматические навыки: формы глаголов в Past Simple.
Оснащение урока: АРМ учителя, проектор.

- Обучающая компьютерная программа к учебнику «Английский с
удовольствием», 4 класс, 2009г.
- Раздаточный материал для учащихся (документ Microsoft Word).

Ход урока
1. Организационный момент. Целеполагание.
Приветствие учителя, сообщение темы урока и цели урока.
Hello, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you. Today we continue our work with unit 5
“Having a good time with your family”. We’ll speak about what you usually do at
home, what you do to help your mums. Now, let’s start.
2. Фонетическая разминка.
Open your text-books at page 71 exercise 21 (Обучающая компьютерная
программа к учебнику «Английский с удовольствием», 4 класс, 2009г.).
We’ve got here sounds [ ], [ ], [i:], [ei], [əu]. Let’s work on these sounds. Repeat
after me.
Упражнение нацелено на развитие техники чтения вслух, повторение правил
чтения букв а и о, буквосочетаний еа, ау.
3. Речевая разминка.
Please, open your text-books at page 71 exercise 18 (Обучающая компьютерная
программа к учебнику «Английский с удовольствием», 4 класс, 2009г.).
- Let’s remember some regular and irregular verbs. Listen and repeat, please.
- Listen and match the right pair of verbs. Учащиеся выходят к доске и
находят пары глаголов.
- Now, please, take your work sheets and do exercise 1.
Write these verbs in Past Simple. E.g. wash – washed.
do – did
cook – cooked
clean – cleaned
go – went
help – helped
feed - fed
4. Развитие умения и навыков устной речи.
p. 70 ex. 16
Now let’s work with word expressions. Please, look at the pictures and match these
pictures with word – expressions:
do homework
go shopping
make the bed
lay the table
do the washing up
answer phone calls
clean the room
feed the pet
water the flowers
- Now, please, make word – expressions with these verbs in Past Simple.

- Make the sentences using these verbs.
E.g. I fed my pet yesterday.
- Answer my questions, please. Use the answers: Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.

6. Работа с текстом. Развитие навыка чтения.
- And now we’ll read the text. Page 71, exercise 19. Complete the text and put the
verbs into the correct form. You’ve got 2 minutes and then we’ll read.
- We’ve got here verbs. Please, tell me their forms in Past Simple.

- Let’s read the text.
- Please, say how Mag helped her mom. (Mag helped her mother to lay the table. Mag

Now I see that you help your mums. It’s very good. You know the 8

great holiday in Russia. So I want you to read the poem “My Mommy”.
My mommy helped me when I was sick,

My mommy helped me when I was sad,
Thanks, Mom, that you were true!
