Good afternoon! You all are
fond of sport: watching sport
competitions on TV or going in
for different kinds of sport. So,
today we are going to have a
lesson devoted to history of
Olympic Games. It is a sports
quiz consisting of 4 rounds.
The topics of them are: “The
History of the Olympic
Games”, “The Olympic
Champions of my country,
Nizhegorodskaya Region ”,
“National sports of Great
Britain and the USA”,the game
“The INTERVIEWER.”
Do you do sport?
What’s your favourite kind of
sport?
Have you ever watched the
Olympic Games?
Do you know what city was
chosen to be the place of the
Olympics in the year 2014?
Do you know who will open
them?
Now I would like you to
imagine that today we’re the
members of the Olympic
Committee and our task is to
choose a sportsman, who will
open the Olympics in Sochi.

divide kind of sports into four
categories. There are individual
