Цели урока:
практические:
введение новой лексики по теме «Save the Earth» и ее первичное закрепление;
введение нового грамматического материала Present Perfect Continuous;
активизация речевой и мыслительной деятельности учащихся;
коммуникативные:
развитие навыков чтения с целью извлечения конкретной информации;
развитие навыков говорения – аргументировано выражать мнения по обсуждаемой
проблеме;
развивающие:
расширение кругозора учащихся;
развитие память;
развитие умения делать выводы, выражать собственное мнение;
воспитательные:
формирование ответственного отношения к природе, к проблемам окружающей
среды, воспитывать потребность к глобальным и местным проблемам, чувства

Ход урока
1. Организационный момент
Good afternoon! I’m glad to see you! How are you today? Who is absent?
Today we’re talking about one of the most important problems in our life – environment and
ecology.
Do you know what does the word “Ecology” mean? How old is the Earth?
Did you know that people all over the world are worried about what is happening to the
environment. They understand that the Earth is their common home, a big green home.
You have learnt the environmental problems at Geography and Biology. But today we are going
to discuss these problems in English.

2. Фонетическая зарядка с использованием лексики по теме.
Now look at the screen and pronounce the words after the speaker. С помощью проектора на
экран выводим картинки по теме: «Save the Earth» из мультимедийной программы
«Английский язык в три приема». Учащиеся произносят слова за диктором, затем учитель
показывает картинку, а ученики по цепочке отвечают по одному слову.

Look at the screen once more and read the headings in the text on p.77. Can you explain
the problem?

1. Factories and power stations burn coal, cars burn petrol and emit toxic
fumes.
2. This causes air pollution and acid rain.
3. Acid rain falls on the earth, seas, rivers, etc, causing water and soil pollution

4. Развитие навыков аудирования, чтения и говорения. Работа с текстом.
Now, when you’ve learned some new words and phrases, let’s listen to the text about acid rain
and learn what it is. Look at the text (p.76). After listening, we will read it and answer some
questions
What is the beginning of problems?
How does it happen that acid rain appears?
What is the process of water and soil pollution.
What are the possible perspectives in this problem?
4.Развитие умений составлять тезисы и использовать их в
монологической речи.
Look through the Study Skills and make notes about ecoproblems in our village.
Cars, factories and power plants cause air pollution which is gathered in clouds. These clouds
carry this pollution, which makes acid rain, long distances. When it rains, snows or when there
is fog or sleet, the atmosphere becomes polluted.
We have a very beautiful river Chagra and some small ponds in our village. The rivers, ponds
and soil become polluted. As a result, lots of fish and plant species are poisoned or wiped out.
The main problem is a litter. Liter is everywhere. It spoils the environment.
People like to spend their weekends in the forest. As a result fires are left. People also have
breathing problems.
The good news is that governments have been trying to reduce the air pollution that causes acid
rain.
We all must stop polluting the environment. We should think about protecting nature. For it we
must:
Put garbage in a garbage
Recycle paper
Feed birds in winter
Plant trees and flowers
We must not:
Throw garbage away
Paint on trees
Cut down baby trees
Hurt animals
2017 is a year of Ecology in Russia. Everyone must do something to save the Earth.
5. Физкультминутка
Well, I can see, that you understand what environmental problems we have nowadays and now
let’s change our activity and do some exercises.
1. Stand up, keep your feet together, relax your shoulders, put your hands on your hips, look at
the window, then at the door, once more at the window, at the door.
2. Rotate your neck in a circle, touching your ears to your shoulders. Rotate slowly n a clockwise
direction 5 times, then in an opposite direction 5 times.
3. Shrug your shoulders up to your ears. Repeat 5 times.
4. Well done! Sit down.

And now we have time to learn one more tense of English language. Look at the board and

8. Подведение итогов.
Well, now we can talk about our environment and ecology and use Present Perfect Continuous.
Next time we’ll learn some more word and how not to mix it up with Preset Perfect.

Collect information what can we do to safe the Earth and present it to the class.
