Тема урока: « Праздники»
Цели урока: Формирование коммуникативных компетенций по теме.
Воспитание уважительного отношения к культуре страны изучаемого языка,
а также к культуре родной страны.
Задачи урока: 1) развитие навыков чтения текста и навыков диалогической
речи.
2) развитие навыков монологической речи (рассказ о праздниках)
3) знакомство с Пасхой в России- чтение с опорой на догадку, новые слова.
4) развитие навыков аудирования-просмотр презентации о Д. С. Ильине.
Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска, диск СD с песней ,
Учебник Т. Клементьевой , Дж. Шэннон « Happy English-2» для 7-9 кл
общеобразоват. шк.
Ход урока
1.Организационный момент.
2.Фонетическая зарядка.
3.Речевая разминка. Учащиеся угадывают праздники по картинкам:
4.Активизация навыков чтения и диалогической речи.
Ученики читают вслух текст о Колумбе на интерактивной доске и отвечают
на вопросы по содержанию текста.
5.Развитие навыков устной монологической речи. Контроль домашнего
задания.
Учащиеся рассказывают о праздниках в США.
New Year’s Day celebrates the start of a new year. The celebration begins on
December the 31-st, New Year’s Eve. Some people stay up all night. Some people
shake hands, kiss, hug, sing, and shout “Happy New Year!”
On Yanuary the 15-th, Americans celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther King.
He was a minister who fought against racial discrimination.To remember Martin
Luther King, many Americans go to church or participate in public ceremonies.
In February Americans celebrate Presidents Day. This holiday honors two greatest
presidents, George Washington, the first president, and Abraham Lincoln, the 16-
th president. Both presidents are famous for their honesty.
On March the 17-th it is St. Patrick’s Day. This is an Irish religious holiday. On St.
Patrick’s Day people decorate their houses, schools, and streets with green
shamrocks. All wear something green. They say that everyone is Irish on St.
Patrick’s Day.
On July the 4-th, the United States celebrate Independens day. On July the 4-th
1776, they declared that the United States would be free and independent from
England.
Hallowe’en is on October the 31, one of the best holidays for children. They walk
door to door and shout “trick or treat”. Most people give them a treat- candy or
fruit. Popular costumes are ghosts, witches and skeletons. Jack-o-lanterns are
pumpkins they carve to look like faces.
Americans celebrate Thanksgiving Day in November. This is a family holiday.
They gather to give thanks for all the good things in their life. They make a big
turkey dinner. Pumpkin pie is the most popular dessert.
Christmas is a religious holiday. Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Americans celebrate Christmas on December the 25-th. Santa Claus delivers
presents on Christmas Eve , and leaves them under the Christmas tree. People
wish each other a Merry Christmas!”
6. Минута отдыха. Исполнение песни на английском языке.
7. Развитие навыков чтения по теме « Пасха в России». Знакомство с
новыми словами. Дети читают текст, переводят его, записывают новые
слова и выражения в свои словари.
8.Знакомство с краеведческим материалом- праздником, посвященным
герою Чесменского сражения, уроженцу нашего Лесного района-
лейтенанту Д. С. Ильину на английском языке. Показ презентации.
Учащиеся смотрят презентацию, слушают рассказ ученицы.
9. Итог урока. Учащиеся читают вывод на интерактивной доске,
осмысливают его, высказывают свои мнения по теме урока.
The conclusion:
So on the whole, holidays are different as histories are different, and each nation
celebrates them in its own way(по-своему). But there are some immortal (вечный)
things: love for women and mothers, respect for heroes, grown- ups and many
others.And no matter what(не имеет значения, как) we call them, good and kind
feelings are still the same (те же самые) everywhere.
