- The weather in the tropics is very hot and wet.

- No, they don’t. They live on the tree trunks in the canopy.
- 5. What does a pitcher plant eat?
- They eat insects.
- Piranhas are one of the most voracious fish in the world. Piranhas easily bite a stick or finger with sharp teeth. They attack large fish, animals living in the river, man. Even the alligator is afraid of them.
- The Philippine eagle is one of the largest birds in the world. Its powerful arcuate beak allows to grab large snakes, hornbills, wild cats, flying lemurs, and even monkeys. His second name -monkey eating eagle .
- Army ants can attack larger and more powerful enemies than themselves. They are very strong compared to other insects, so attack even large prey: rats and mice sometimes they can eat a whole horse.
- Tarantula-spiders live in the rain forests. They are digging their own burrows under tree roots and lined them with a web. Spider waiting for its prey at the entrance to the burrow. All species of tarantulas are predators. They eat small mammals, insects, amphibians and lizards, sometimes eat birds and small snakes. Widespread use of tarantulas as exotic pets.
