Современные дети находятся в развитой информационной системе, поэтому структуру урока необходимо выстраивать с использованием современных технологий. Данная презентация является частью урока для расширения кругозора учащихся по теме «Литературная Британия». Она включает в себя карту Великобритании, где отмечены города, связанные с именами известных писателей, фотографии писателей и поэтов Великобритании. Дается краткое сообщение по каждому автору и известные его книги. Цель данной работы: Формирование лингвострановедческой компетенции учащихся путем ознакомления с английской литературой, развития интереса к английскому языку и культуре страны изучаемого языка. Welcome to Literary Britain Jerome Klapka. Jerome (1859- 1927) England is the birthplace of such writers as Jerome K. Jerome, the author of the popular novel Three Men in a Boat, The Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow. He is well known as a writer- humourest not only in his country but in other countries too. Charles Dickens (1812-1870) Charles Dickens was the greatest critical realist in XIX century English literature. In his novels Charles Dickens touched upon the most important social problems, and always took the side of poor people. His books are Oliver Twist, The Pickwick Papers, David Copperfield, Great Expectation and others. Charlotte Bronte (1816-1855`) Charlotte Bronte, an English novelist of the XIX century, was a contemporary of Dickens, Thackeray. In her best novel Jane Eyre Charlotte Bronte tells the readers the story of a poor governess. The author gave much attention in her novel to the problems of education. William Shakespeare (1564-1616) Stratford-on-Avon is known as William Shakespeare`s birthplace. He was an English writer of plays, one of the famous ever. Among the most famous of his plays are the tragedies of Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, Hamlet, Othello, King Lear and others. He also wrote some very good poetry, especially the Sonnets, and worked as an actor at the Globe Theatre in London Oscar Wild (1854-1900) Oscar Wilde was an Irish writer best known for his play The Importance of Being Earnest and his story The Picture of Dorian Gray. Many of the clever and funny things he said in conversations are still famous. George Eliot (1819-1880) George Eliot was an English woman writer (real name Mary Anne or Martian Evans), one of the greatest English novelists. Her books show learning, humour, feeling and deal with morality. Her most famous book was Middlemarch. William Wordsworth (1770-1850) Wales has inspired poets such as William Wordsworth whose poems are mainly about the beauty of nature and often describe the countryside of the Lake District where he went to live. Roald Dahl (1916-1990) Here not far from Cardiff, the modern writer Roald Dahl was born. He is a novelist, short story writer and screenwriter, famous as a writer for both children and adults. He is known especially for his very popular children`s books such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach. Lewis Caroll (1832-1898) Wales inspired Lewis Carroll to write his literary treasure Alice in Wonderland. His real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) Percy Bysshe Shelley is an English port. His most famous works were written after 1818 when he settled in Italy and include Adonais, Prometheus Unbound and the short poem To a Skylark. Alexander Pope (1688-1744) Alexander Pope is a satirical poet who wrote the Rape of the Lock, which describes the foolishness of fashionable people. Henry Fielding (1707-1754) Henry Fielding is a novelist and dramatist. His most famous novel is The History Of Tom Jones, a Foundling. Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832) Walter Scott is a Scottish writer and a poet, especially famous for his stories of Scottish life, several of them are based on historical characters, such as Ivanhoe, The Heart of Midlothian Jane Austen (1775-1817) Jane Austen is an English writer who wrote, often humorously, about the way of life of middle class people of her time, in books such as Pride and Prejudice and Emma. Richard Doddridge Blackmore (1825-1890) Oxford University`s list of former students reads like a writers` who`s who: Richard Doddridge Blackmore is best known for his book Lorna Doone, a historical story which takes place in Devon. John Ronald Reyel Tolkien (1892-1973) John Ronald Reyel Tolkien is a writer and university teacher best known for his fantasy books The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Robert Burns (1759-1796) In South West Scotland we meet Robert Burns, the great Scottish poet, who wrote hundreds of songs and poems, mainly on the country life, love and national pride. Georg Gordon Byron (1788-1824) The great English revolutionary poet. Byron hated exploitation and sympathized with the working class. When he was a student, he published his first collection of poems Hours of Idleness. The he wrote Childe Harold`s Pilgrimage and made Byron famous. His best poems are: Don Juan, Cain, The Age of Bronze, The Vision of Judgement. Заключение Данная работа может быть использована при изучении темы «Известные писатели и поэты Великобритании» в 9 классах. Также можно использовать при проведении внеклассного мероприятия по данной теме, для актуализации страноведческого материала, что будет способствовать развитию интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка.
