Тема урока: «Talking about Holidays» / Отдых летом.
Учебно-методический комплекс – «Enjoy English», учебник для 5-го класса
общеобразовательных учреждений, М.З.Биболетова, О.А.Денисенко, Н.Н.Трубанева
Оборудование: ноутбук, проектор, раздаточный материал, видео-фрагмент мультфильма
(Peppa Pig).
Время реализации: 1 урок (45 минут).
Формы работы: фронтальная, парная.
Тип урока: обобщающий урок, как урок совершенствования ЗУН по теме «Отдых летом».
Данный урок является обобщающим в изучении темы «Разговор о каникулах» («Talking
about holidays»). Предусмотрено неоднократное обращение к материалу предыдущих уроков в
течение занятия, что позволяет обобщить и систематизировать знания и умения по данной теме.
Содержание данного урока работает на дальнейшее использование освоенного
лексического материала не только в учебных ситуациях, но и в реальных жизненных.
При организации урока использованы следующие методы:
- по источнику знаний: словесные, практические;
- по степени взаимодействия учителя и учащихся: беседа, работа в группах, парах;
- по характеру познавательной деятельности: репродуктивные, частично-поисковые,
творческие методы;
- по принципу расчленения или единения знаний: аналитические, обобщающие методы.
Также используется метод обучения при помощи наводящих вопросов.
На уроке были использованы электронные образовательные ресурсы, такие, как
мультимедийная презентация. Современные технические средства обучения помогают
поддерживать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.
Цель урока: научить учащихся рассказывать о своих летних каникулах.
Задачи урока:
- практическая
повторить изученную лексику (уметь соотносить слова по лексической сочетаемости);
обеспечить тренировку грамматического материала (Past Simple – прошедшее простое
время) в серии коммуникативных упражнений;
развивать умение диалогической речи (научить умению задавать вопросы, корректно вести
учебный диалог о летних каникулах (с опорой на образец);
закрепить навыки выражения согласия и несогласия;
развивать умение просмотра мультфильма с пониманием основного содержания;
совершенствовать навыки устной речи;
- развивающая
развивать умение использовать в процессе просмотра различные компенсаторные
стратегии;
развитие способности к общению;
развитие логичности и доказательности;
развивать мышление, память, речь и внимание;
- воспитательная
учить слушать друг друга;
развивать умение работать в паре;
воспитать интерес к предмету.

Организационный момент
1. Начало урока: приветствие, сообщение цели урока.
- Good morning, dear students. I’m glad to see you. How are you? (Fine, thank you. And you?)
- I’m fine, thanks. Sit down, please.
- What day is it today? What’s the date? What is the weather like today? (It’s sunny, but cold.)
- Thank you. I hope you are in a good mood, and ready to work hard as usual. So let’s start our
lesson. Today we’ll revise the material we’ve studied and summarize the knowledge on the topic
“Summer Holidays” and the Past Simple Tense.
2. Фонетическая разминка (Phonics).
- First let’s prepare our tongues for the lesson. Look at the blackboard, please. Repeat after me.

4. Речевая разминка (A picture story).
- Now, dear friends, have a look at this slide. Make up a picture story using the prompts. Use our
active vocabulary. The first letters are given to you.
Keys: Last summer Vanessa went abroad. She stayed at the hotel. Vanessa took photos / pictures
and swam a lot. She spent a lot of time on the beach. But she missed her family greatly. Anyway, she
spent her summer holidays in a great way.

5. Закрепление навыков выражение согласия или несогласия
Let’s speak about your holidays. I will give you a sentence and you should say me I agree with
you or I disagree with you. Let’s remember, What does it mean? (Я согласен с вами / Я не согласен с
вами).

На слайдах даны предложения в простом прошедшем времени. Учащиеся должны
согласиться или не согласиться с ними, используя модели I agree with you или I disagree with
you.
- I spent my summer holidays in the country.
Предполагаемый ответ: I agree with you. I spent my summer holidays in the country.
- I didn't go to the country in July.
Предполагаемый ответ: I disagree with you. I went to the country in July.
- The weather was rainy last August.
Предполагаемый ответ: I disagree with you. The weather wasn't rainy last August.
- It was interesting to spend your summer holidays in the city.
Предполагаемый ответ: I agree with you. It was interesting to spend my summer holidays in the
city.
- I visited my grandparents in June.
Предполагаемый ответ: I disagree with you. I didn't visit my grandparents in June.

6. Развитие диалогической речи.
- Well-done! Now… Have a look at the sheets of paper on your desks. Turn them over. Everyone
has a phrase. The task is to go round the classroom and make a line of your sentences to complete the
dialogue.
- Let’s see what you have.

- Hi! You look wonderful. Any good news?
- Oh, do I?... Last week I went back to Moscow.
- Really? Where did you spend your summer holidays? Where were you?
- Oh, I went abroad. I was in Spain.
- What was the weather like?
- It was hot and sunny.
- How long did you stay there?
- 10 days only.
- Did you go there alone or with your family?
- I was alone, but I missed my family a lot.
- Oh, I see… What did you do in Spain?
- I swam and took a lot of photos. I went to discos. Sorry, I must go…
- Bye, have a nice day.
- Now, find the questions and let’s answer them quickly.
- A good job! Can you guess the next task? It’s your turn to work in pairs and make up your own
dialogue. You have 2 minutes. If you need, you may take notes. (составляют диалоги в парах)
- Your time is up! Silence, please! Let’s listen to your dialogues. The rest of the class must be very
attentive, I’m going to ask questions.
Примерные вопросы: Where did she / he go? How long did she / he stay abroad? Did he / she
stay in Moscow or go abroad? etc.
7. Просмотр мультфильма.
- Thank you for your dialogues. It’s time to watch a short part of your favourite cartoon about
Peppa Pig.
What do you remember about Peppa? (She’s a funny pig. She has got a mother, a father and a
little brother. …)

- Do you like the cartoon? Let’s discuss the cartoon. Read the sentences and say whether they are
TRUE or FALSE. If they are false, find and correct the mistake.
