  • George Washington was the first person to be elected the President of the United States. His political life was successful.
  • In 1792 he was reelected for the next 4 years.
  • Thomas Jefferson was an American outstanding man and the third President of the USA. The Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson.
  • In 2000 George Bush became the candidate of the President from the Republican Party. George Walker Bush is the forty-third and current President of the United States.

  • 1.The Supreme Court is the highest court is the U. S., and is the system of courts to settle questions about the laws.
  • 2.The nine justices can serve for as long as they live, or wish to retire.
  • 3.Each justice is chosen by the president.

  • -The president carries out the laws of the United States.
  • -The Congress (Senate and House of Representatives) makes the laws.
