Цели:
Развивающие:
формировать устойчивый интерес к мотивации к дальнейшему изучению английского
языка, вовлекать учащихся в творческую деятельность, развивать воображение;
Образовательные:
познакомить с празднованием Рождества в разных странах, с рождественскими
символами и традициями. Расширить общеобразовательный кругозор учащихся при
ознакомлении их со страноведческими сведениями;
Воспитательные:
воспитывать потребность практического использования языка;
воспитывать уважительное отношение к различным культурам;
Учебные:
совершенствовать умения в чтении, аудировании, монологической речи, активизировать
употребление лексики по теме «Рождество».

It is New Year soon and you are preparing to seeing it in.
But you know that in Britain the New Year is not as
widely celebrated as Christmas. What do you know about
Christmas?

In many countries of the world, the celebration of
Christmas on December 25th is a high point of the year.
But why? Can it have any real meaning for us today? Is
there a 'real' Christmas message?
How is Christmas celebrated in different countries? Now
you will find it out. Divide into three groups, please. Each
group will read the text from the Internet about Christmas
traditions. The first group has to find everything about
Christmas celebration in Great Britain clicking

The second group works on the site

where they can find everything about Christmas in the
USA. And the third group finds out how Christmas is
celebrated in Russia. You can find necessary information
