  • Many highland games take place all over Scotland every year. The most famous meeting is in Braemer, a small village in the Scottish Highlands. The games are always on the first Saturday in September.

Many athletes travel to Scotland each year to take part in the games. They compete in the events like the hammer throw, shot put and the hill run.
