  • Dear Fill, Thank you for your letter. It was great to hear from you again. You asked me about my holidays. This is my second season at Camp Bellaire. I just passed my swimming test. Now I can swim out to the raft and also use the boats. To pass I had to jump into the water with my clothes on. (as if I had just fallen out of the boat). Then I had to take them down to my trunks, even my shoes and socks, and finally swim back to shore. It was tough, but I did it! How has your summer been? Not too hot, I hope. Did you get to visit your grandparents? Did you go on a trip to Toronto as you had planned? They say Toronto is a beautiful city! Looking forward to seeing you soon. There is lots of news to catch up on!. Best wishes, Mike.

  • Thanks for your letter. I`m glad you`re going to visit Russia.
  • The weather in summer is usually hot, so I don` t think you `ll
  • need lots of warm clothes. However, you`d better take a jacket.
  • Can`t wait to see you.
  • In your letter you asked me about the life in a big city.
  • As for me, I enjoy living in Moscow as there are lots of parks
  • and cosy cafes, museums and galleries. In the evening I go
  • for a walk with my friends, and at weekends we go to the
  • theatre or cinema.
  • I`d better go now as I have to do my homework-boring!
  • Lots of love,
  • Rita
  • Dear Jane,
  • Have you got any museums in your town? Are they free for
  • students? Are there sports facilities?

  • Dear Rob,
  • Thank you for your letter. I am very glad to receive it. I am glad you managed to talk to Sam. Please give my best regards to him.
  • You asked me about technology. I have got a new mobile. It has got

  • I am glad you have made such progress in chess. Is it difficult to learn

  • I have got to go now as I am helping my father in the garage.
  • All the best,
