Conditionals Type 1

Exercise 1. Choose the right variant and translate into Russian:

  • If we go/will go shopping, I buy/will buy a new jacket.
  • If Mum is/will be tired, I cook/will cook dinner.
  • You are/will be tired, if you don’t/won’t go to bed early.
  • If I don’t/won’t get a good mark in the test, I am/will be angry.

We use when to show that something will certainly happen

  • We use if when we are not certain that something will happen
